1. I hope it is obvious that crossing the Black Heart is an intolerable offense and doing so will result in punishment depending on the severity of the action and the damages it causes.

2. Fighting within the ranks is encouraged, only the strong and most able will be allowed to lead. However, permanent injury and death of a brother or sister is not tolerated here.

3. Expulsion of the pack is a serious matter and as such, once expelled you are no longer a friend- but an enemy. Keep that in mind if you cross the Black Heart or want to break the laws. A 'Kill On Sight' charge will be added to your head. 

4. We are a violent pack, intruders are to be treated with hostility, intruders will be taken as prisoner deep within the caves for interrogation.

6. Never betray the Black Hand or our secrets. To do so is an immediate death sentence. 

7. The Black Hand is out for fame, we want to be known as the cruelest pack in town, so brag and boast, back up your words with violence, rape, sabotage. 

8. Finally, ranks can be challenged for. However, there are some guidelines. To challenge for a position in the Hand, you must be at least in tier 3 of ranking for the Hand alone if the current holder of the rank is defeated by a lower ranked member, the winner will puncture a hole in their ear to signal their shame to the pack. All other challenges for lower ranks are simple, the winner moves up, the loser moves down a tier.

The Black Hand is a group of canines with few morals when it comes to outsiders, they function together, although they may not enjoy each others company, made up of a militaristic structure they defend one another- like a corrupt and twisted family would. Betrayal is not an option, to go against one is to go against all and that is unacceptable, traitors have been known to be hunted down and slowly tortured to death by their comrades. To those outside of its ranks they are murderous, cruel, heartless and even blood thirsty, they do not care if what they do is sinful or disturbing, murder, torture, rape and manipulating others is what they love doing. This is a pack for those that want to indulge in sin without worry of a mob hunting them down. The pack is competitive, only the strongest and most cunning can reach the top. Within this pack there is fighting, it is encouraged by the Black Heart- the leader- these fights ensure that only the best stay in command. Ranks are challenged for, but it is ultimately the Heart’s decision on who becomes apart of the Hand.

The Hand is comprised of 5 dogs that have the Heart’s absolute trust, they are the best of their skill, they are wise and when the Heart is torn, he turns to his Hand for advice and for votes. There is the ‘Life Blood’ the military, the ‘Keen One’ the inner security, ‘Hallowed One’ is the healer, ‘the Voice’ is the advisor, and the ‘Reckoning’ is the beta of sorts. What they vote upon will be carried out, without exception. The ‘Voice’ is the main advisor. These members can be challenged for their title; however, the challenger must be of a third level in their tier.

Every member has a paw dipped black, the Heart also has a black paw print on his chest- signaling he is the leader. The Hand has their back left paw and their front right paw dipped black. Lower ranks have only their back left paw dipped. If ever a member of the Hand is challenged and loses, the dog taking his place will put a notch in the loser’s ear, signaling his disgrace.
